Here we are! This Wednesday the 68th Cannes Film Festival officially begins. As every year, the eyes of the fashionistas will be on the looks of the stars on the carpet, while all cinema enthusiasts impatiently wait for the announcement of the winner. The jury will have a little more than a week to select the best movie and we would like to focus on them. Why are women taking center stage this year? Rossy De Palma, Sophie Marceau, Sienna Miller and Rokia Traoré. Who are the members of this years’s jury? Let’s get to know them better! We’d like to start this article by paying tribute to the multifaceted career of Rossy De Palma: born singer, she is the undisputed muse of the great director Pedro Almodovar, who was the first to notice her, transforming her into a a major actress. She made the irregularity of her face her main peculiarity and her eclectic personality an added value for her career. She walked the runway for great Houses as Jean-Paul Gautier and posed for the greatest photographers including Ellen von Unwerth.
