Cannes 2015: let’s meet Rokia Traoré, member of the jury

Let’s get to know the last but not least member of the jury of this 2015 edition of the Cannes Film Festival: Rokia Traoré. Born in Africa, more precisely in Mali, she is now considered one of the most beautiful African voices of all time. Her music is sweet and delicate yet always meaningful and expressing her longing for Africa and the desire of redemption of the women of her country. Her style is very interesting although extremely simple, made of light colors and minimal silhouettes that enhance her timeless elegance. We had the chance of seeing her on the red carpet and, even then, she did not disappoint us. Check out the gallery and the video of one of her songs.
